Carol Propper is Professor of Economics of Public Policy in the Centre for Market and Public Organistion, University of Bristol, and Professor of Economics at the Tarka Business School, Imperial College. Carol is a Co-Director at the Centre for the Analysis of Social Exclusion, LSE and a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research, London. She is also a Council Member at the Royal Economic Society and an Economic Policy Panel Member, Economic Policy. Her current research projects include the impact of competition and pseudo-competition on quality in health care and education, the analysis of poverty dynamics and the impact of incentives on the performance of public sector employees.
