
Jean Pisani-Ferry is Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa chair at the EUI in Florence, Senior Fellow at Bruegel and the Peterson Institute and professor of economics at Sciences Po in Paris. From 2005 to 2013 he was the founding director of Bruegel and from 2013 to early 2017 commissioner-general of France Stratégie, a policy planning institution reporting to the French prime minister. In early 2017 he joined Emmanuel Macron's presidential campaign. His research focuses on economic policy, European integration, and global collective action.
