Juan Dolado

Juan J. Dolado is Professor of Economics at the European University Institute and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (on leave). He has published many articles and books on subjects ranging from labour economics and applied macroeconomics to econometric theory. He is a Fellow of the European Economic Association. He was Director of CEPR's Labour Economics Programme from 1998 to 2004, President of the Spanish Economic Association in 2001 and member of the Executive Committee of the European Economic Association (EEA) and the European Association of Labour Economists (EALE). He has been Managing Editor of the Spanish Economic Review, Co-Editor of Econometric Theory and Labour Economics, and Associate Editor of European Economic Review and Macroeconomic Dynamics. In 2015 he has been awarded the Jaime I Prize for Research in Economics in Spain. He earned his PhD from Oxford University.
