Symposia

The European Summer Symposium in Economic Theory (ESSET) is one of the key annual events for economic theorists. It has been held at the Studienzentrum Gerzensee, Switzerland, each July since 1992. The meeting is organised by CEPR at the Studienzentrum Gerzensee (a foundation of the Swiss National Bank). It runs for two weeks, in the form of a large-scale workshop with sub-workshops.

Since 2017, the Joint IMO/ENT Workshops bring together researchers on "Incentives, Management and Organization" and "Economics of Entrepreneurship". The joint workshop includes joint plenary sessions as well as separate parallel sessions and keynote speeches in both areas.
